U.S. History:
Today we recapped the causes and effects of the War of 1812 with an emphasis on the effects which were: 1. Increased Patriotism 2. Weakened Native American Resistance 3. Increased U.S. Manufacturing & Industry
We then discussed the Grade Level Content Expectation for Chapter 11 which requires students to learn about the major social and economic differences that developed in the North and South following the War.
Homework: Students read p. 341 – 345 and completed Section 11-1 Assessment (#’s 1, 3 & 4)
