U.S. History:
Today I had students answer the Section Assessment questions from 13.1 regarding trails west. We corrected them as a class and moved on to Section 2 which dealt with the fight for Texas. Following the reading we viewed two more presidential videos from our president’s series (James Polk and Zachary Taylor). Tomorrow we will read about the war with Mexico and the California Gold Rush.

Digital Productions:
Two groups are working on videos for school expectations this week. The severe weather group has shot all their video and is hard at work editing the movie to be viewable by the school. The other video is being put together to commemorate the dodge ball tournament that took place last week.
The majority of the class is tying up the pictures on the yearbook – indexing photos, working on format issues, etc. Our due date is quickly approaching (April 2)
