October 12th – 16th

October 12th – 16th

Wow….has the whole week gone by already?!!

Parents and students, I apologize for not updating the lessons during this week.  I will give a brief summary of the week below.

Monday,  October 12th: Students presented their Road to Revolution Posters in class

Tuesday, October 13th: We continued Road to revolution poster presentations in the limited time we had due to MEAP Testing in the Morning.

Wednesday, October 14th: Today we looked at a timeline of the events in the chapter to see how they pieced together.  We also watched a short video on the Declaration of Independence and discussed many of the big words found in the document.

Thursday, October 15th: Today I passed out a study guide to 4th and 5th hour.  We had Meap Testing in the morning and only saw 4th and 5th hours in the afternoon.  Students in 4th and 5th Hour began working on the study guide following a brief class discussion about the declaration of Independence

Friday, October 16th: Today I passed out the The Road to Revolution Test Study Guide to remainder of the classes who hadn’t already recieved it.  This is the Chapter 6 Study guide to help prepare students for the test which will be Next Wednesday.

Homework: I did not assign the study guide for homework over the weekend since the test isn’t until Wednesday.  The students had at least 45 minutes of class time to work independently on the study guide today and will get more time on Monday following our review game.
