U.S. History:
Today we attempted to take a quiz on Chapter 12. 3rd and 4th hour will be taking that again tomorrow due to typos on their copies of the test. 2nd and 5th hour were able to take the quiz as planned today.
Following the quiz students were given 15 – 20 minutes to work on their building vocabulary worksheets for Chapter 12.
The last half of the hour I introduced Chapter 13 “Manifest Destiny” We discussed a famous Manifest Destiny painting and watched an interactive map that illustrated the land acquisitions made by the United States from 1820-1850.
Homework: Complete the Chapter 12 Building Vocabulary Worksheet.
Digital Productions:
We are down to the final 3 weeks of Yearbook production, so all page authoring is in as high a gear as we can get it. As usual, we will likely take this thing right down to the wire.
Two student groups are also working on videos for different school projects.
