U.S. History:
Today we finished up the Gold Rush portion of Into the West. This portion also included the Treaty of Ft. Laramie from 1851 which helps set up our later studies of how the Native Americans were treated as settlers moved west.
Following the video, students were given time to work on their Chapter 13 building vocabulary worksheets as we discussed topics that will be included on the test tomorrow. The test will cover Chapters 12 & 13 and students are able to use their notes, past section assessments, worksheets and quizzes while taking the test. I’ve asked that all of them study tonight using those things, and if they don’t have those things, they may want to consider re-reading.
