i think that he would have ended slavery sooner and the nort;h would have won the war sooner there for the slaves would havee had a better live for the kids and family.

If lincoln had lived the healing process would of been a lot quicker. The North would of not wanted to hang or punish the south people. and i think slavery would of ended a lot quicker also.

I think the Civil war Would have kept going To be honest. Lincol was so for keeping the Union together and only one one part of the Confederacy surrendered. Lincoln might have thought that they could keep going and over power the South.

I think the devastation was worse in Haiti than in California because Haiti is smaller, over populated and very poor. California on the other hand well they were able to pay for damages a little easier than Hati and the united states is richer than most other countries. So yea it does have a lot to do with money. Also we have more steadier homes and they don’t break as easy. Haiti’s homes were as good as gone before the earthquake so they were not in good shape after because almost everything was destroyed.

that is a sad picture because the kids have no were to go. I’m sure they would rather be in a real classroom then sitting on the streets.

the earth quake in Haiti was really bad im sure they didn’t know much before it hit, and if they did im sure they could of prepared better for it. California has strong buildings they are use to earthquakes so they build there buildings supper strong. It was very sad. its good that people are going over there to help.

well i think the devestation is expecially bad in Haiti because one they dont have buildings structured to withstand earthquakes wereas Calafornia does, and Haiti is a community that dosent have a lot of money to get add for the homeless people.
